Hello to all my brothers and sisters.
First off, I would like to wish all of you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. I hope you will have a good holiday, and also a more fruitful and transformational new year ahead.
The Mayan Calendar has ended, and a new age begins. It’s not a literal end of the world, but this does not mean we should continue on with the same mindset, attitude, and outlook towards life and everything else. I believe that even when we faced a possible “end of the world”, it serves as a beacon for us to look deep within ourselves to identify and accept our shortcomings, and for us to change and transform ourselves for the better. Not for anyone else, but for ourselves. I truly believe that when we can start with ourselves, others that can see the change in ourselves can also do the same. Like the words of the wise Michael Jackson – “I’m starting with the Man in the Mirror” (Oh yeah!).
It has been a seriously interesting year for me. Very turbulent, but also very fruitful 2012. I have realized that life is only worth living when it is interesting (in every sense of the word), not just in good things, but also in not-so-good things, emphasis on the latter. But if we look at it from another perspective, the not-so-good things that happens to us are the ones that gives us more benefits, than just the good experiences. Those are the times when we are able to learn more about ourselves, our relationship with others, and how every thought and action affects others, and how we can improve and develop ourselves.
I write this as a personal reminder to myself, and that I make a lot of mistakes and wish to change and transform myself for the better. To those who I have wronged over the course of time in ANY way, I would like to extend my sincerest apologies and I seek your forgiveness. To those who have not, I am forever grateful for the friendship and the brotherhood, and the sense of family, that you have given me. I am a better person because of all of you. I still stand to learn a lot of things, but I strive to become better each time. I still fail miserably in many occasions, but that is what helps me to realize these things about myself, and you become the mirror for me to do it. That is one of the greatest blessings in life.
On that note, I wish to thank all of you for the support and love that you have given me. I would like to extend the same to all of you in every way. I pray that next year will be a more fruitful year for all of you, in every way possible, especially in spirit.
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!!
See you next year!!
